About Dr Canfield
Dr. Canfield joined Metropolitan Nephrology Associates in 2023. After completing his Bachelor’s of Science at the University of Scranton, he received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed residency at ChristianaCare in Newark, DE, where he was honored as the Internal Medicine Resident of the Year upon graduating in 2021. Dr. Canfield completed his nephrology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, where he also served as Chief Fellow. He has authored several poster and oral presentations throughout his medical career. He is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Canfield brings his interests, knowledge, and enthusiasm to all of our hospitals, teaching students and residents while modeling excellence in patient care. He is currently seeing outpatients at our Castor Ave office, as well as dialysis patients at our Parkview and Cambria dialysis locations.
